Powered by a Shimano EP801 drive system, the ES1-G blends real gravel-bike handling with smooth, intuitive electric assist. From cruising around town to underbiking rough roads that would make a mountain bike blush, this bike makes everything fair game.

A close sibling of Ventum’s flagship GS1 gravel bike, the ES1-G was designed to feel fast first — not like a bulky e-bike. The EP801 motor delivers smooth, natural power, while the lightweight system keeps the bike feeling lively and responsive.

This is a Class 3 e-bike, meaning pedal assist up to 28 mph — fast enough to hang on group rides, cover serious ground, or just make riding more fun.

Shimano EP801 Drive System

At the heart of the ES1-G is Shimano’s best-in-class e-bike platform:

• Up to 85Nm of torque
• 504Wh removable battery
• Lightweight system (motor weighs just 2.7 kg)

With Eco, Trail, and Boost modes (plus Walk mode), you can choose exactly how the bike feels — from a subtle tailwind to a powerful kick when the road turns steep.

Smart Shifting. Massive Range.

The ES1-G features a mixed Shimano Di2 drivetrain, combining Ultegra Di2 shifters with a Shimano XT Di2 rear derailleur. This setup delivers smooth, precise shifting and a huge gear range, perfect for steep climbs and fast flats alike.

Thanks to Shimano’s ecosystem integration, the bike is also capable of Auto Shift and Free Shift, letting the system shift for you — or giving you full manual control when you want it.
