Clark Butcher

Clark Butcher

Founder and Owner

They say the first step to addressing addiction is admitting you have a problem. Clark will be the first to tell you he is addicted to endurance athletics. He got his start with running at the age of seven. After running for a few years, Clark's competitive passion led him to triathlon where he naturally excelled in cycling. By the time he was sixteen, Clark achieved the distinction of category two cyclist.

Pursuing racing full time, "Grizzwald" completed in events such as the Junior World Cup in Canada, National Championships, and professional-caliber events throughout the country. These efforts culminated in 2002 when Butcher spent a summer racing throughout Europe with the German National Team.

In addition to his years spent competing, Clark's background in physiology/endurance coaching, and years of industry experience make him uniquely qualified to run a business that is much more than your average bike shop.

Cycling was his only mode of transportation until he was 23 years old, and he moved to Memphis to become a part of the vast cycling community, which allowed him to see Victory from a customer's broad point of view.

Now, he enjoys reaping the benefits of servicing and repairing the bikes of our customers. His dog, a full-breed Chow Chow, is named Baxter, and when not cycling he enjoys spending time with Baxter, his family, & beer (Terrance likes beer).

Connor Boyd

Connor Boyd

Mechanic

Originally from New Albany, Mississippi, Connor has called Memphis home for the past 17 years. He recently celebrated a major milestone by marrying his wife this past April and is excited to continue building both a life and career here in the Mid-South.

Connor's love for cycling began with his father, a dedicated cyclist who introduced him to the sport at an early age. That passion eventually turned into a career, and for the past eight years, he's been helping riders throughout the Memphis area at several local bike shops. Along the way, he's built lasting friendships and become a familiar face within the local cycling community. Whether he's fine-tuning a race bike or getting someone's first bike ready to ride, Connor enjoys helping people make the most of every ride.

When he's away from the service bench, you'll likely find him playing chess, tending his garden, fishing, building the perfect homemade pizza, or diving into a PC game. He's always up for learning something new and enjoys hobbies that keep both his hands and his mind busy.
