Collection: Shoes

Cycling shoes are discipline-specific footwear built around cleat mounting, stiff soles for efficient power transfer, and fit systems that keep the foot secure through the full pedal stroke.

Road shoes have a smooth, stiff carbon or composite sole and use 3-bolt cleats; mountain and gravel shoes use a recessed 2-bolt cleat that allows walking and a more flexible sole for hike-a-bike sections; tri and TT shoes prioritize fast entry and aerodynamics. Sole stiffness affects power transfer and fatigue over long efforts — stiffer soles are more efficient but less comfortable for walking. Fit between brands varies significantly in width and last shape, particularly for riders with wider feet or high arches. Cleat compatibility with your pedals is the baseline check before purchasing.

At Victory Bicycle Studio, shoe fit is part of how we approach cleat setup — getting the shoe right before we set cleat position saves a lot of adjustment time later.
