About The Bontrager Kovee Pro 35 50mm 13° 35mm Black Stem
The Bontrager Kovee Pro 35 is a 50mm, 13° cross-country mountain bike stem with a 35mm bar clamp, 3D forged from 7075-T73 alloy. It is built for XC race bikes running a 35mm handlebar.
Pairing the oversized 35mm clamp with a 35mm bar gives a stronger, lighter bar and stem system. Laser-etched calibration marks make it simple to set and repeat the bar angle, and the stem works with both Knock Block and standard headsets and spacers.
Who It's For
- XC riders running a 35mm-clamp handlebar who want a 50mm stem.
- Riders who want a stem that accepts Bontrager Blendr accessory mounts.
- Riders with a 31.8mm bar should look elsewhere; this stem only fits 35mm bars.
What to Look For
- Bar clamp: 35mm. Confirm your handlebar's center clamp diameter before ordering.
- Length and angle: 50mm at 13°. Stem length changes reach and steering, so match it to your fit.
- Headset: works with Knock Block and standard headsets and spacers.
Key Features
7075-T73 forged alloy. 3D forged construction for strength at low weight.
35mm bar clamp. Oversized clamp diameter for increased strength and minimal weight.
Calibration marks. Laser-etched marks make dialing in the bar angle simple and repeatable.
Knock Block and Blendr. Compatible with Knock Block and standard headsets, and with Blendr integrated accessory mounting.
Finish. Black.
Rider Intent Summary
- Biggest strengths: Forged 7075 alloy, 35mm clamp, and repeatable bar-angle setup.
- Tradeoffs: Requires a 35mm handlebar; 31.8mm bars will not fit.
- What makes it different: Knock Block and Blendr compatibility in an XC-focused 35mm stem.
Victory's Take
A 50mm stem on an XC bike is a deliberate choice, usually paired with a longer front center; at Victory Bicycle Studio we confirm reach on the bike before recommending a stem this short.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer free shipping?
We do offer free shipping on non-bike orders over $100. We do not offer free shipping for bicycles unless it is a one time promotion. Generally, bike shipping will cost $150 and that covers just the shipping of the bike with no assembly. If you were to bring that bike to your local mechanic or bike store, you would pay them their assembly fee. If you choose our Professional Assembly option for $200, our service technicians would assemble the bike before shipping and then re-pack the bike safely for transit. When you receive the bike you would attach the front wheel, attach the seatpost/saddle, and raise the handlebars and clamp them. Those three items do have to be detached to minimize or eliminate the chance of damage in transit.
How much does shipping cost?
For orders of parts, accessories, apparel, etc. on orders under $100, shipping is a flat rate of $9.99. Regular bike shipping without assembly is $150, bike shipping with Professional Assembly is an additional $200 (so $350 in total which includes the $150 of regular shipping). Our White Glove Delivery option is $699 and that will cover the assembly of the bike and our White Glove Delivery partner delivering your dream bike to your front door, ready to ride!
How can I track my order?
When you place your online order, you will receive an instantaneous email update with your order number and order details, and shortly after, you will receive a follow up order email with the tracking number for your order. If you still need assistance with your order, feel free to email us at online@victorybicyclestudio.com and we will respond asap.
