About The Enve Mog Gravel Bike Frameset

The ENVE MOG is a carbon gravel frameset — not a complete bike — built for riders who want to spec their own build around a race-capable platform. Made from ENVE M.O.D Carbon, the frame and matched fork cover gravel racing, all-day riding, and loaded backcountry exploration on one platform rather than requiring separate bikes for separate terrain. Tire clearance runs from a 700x36c minimum up to a 700x50c maximum, with 700x40-44c listed as optimal, so the same frame handles fast hardpack and chunkier exploration routes. The standout feature is ENVE's integrated Cargo Bay, an open cavity in the downtube that functions as in-frame storage for tools, tubes, or food without strapping bags to the bike.

ENVE IN-Route internal cable routing, a serviceable threaded T47 bottom bracket, and fender mounts plus three bottle mounts and top tube mounts round out the frame for multi-day riding. The frame weighs 950g (size 56, painted, no hardware) and pairs a 12x142 rear thru-axle with a 12x100 front. The MOG comes in six sizes, 49-60cm, each matched to a specific fork rake for consistent handling.

Who It's For

Riders building a custom gravel bike around components they choose themselves — not a turnkey option for buyers wanting a complete bike out of the box

Gravel racers and long-distance riders who want one frame to cover hardpack courses and rougher backcountry terrain

Riders who want generous tire clearance (up to 700x50c) without committing to one tire width

Bikepackers who'll use the integrated Cargo Bay and fender mounts on self-supported trips

Riders set on 650b wheels should look elsewhere — ENVE doesn't recommend that wheel size for this frame

What to Look For

Confirm sizing before ordering: the MOG runs 49-60cm with a size-specific fork rake, so a proper fit check matters more on a frameset purchase than a stock complete bike

Match your component choices to the frame's standards: threaded T47 bottom bracket, ENVE Integrated IS52/IS52 headset, flat-mount disc brakes, and 12x142/12x100 thru-axles

Settle on a tire strategy up front — 36c minimum, 40-44c optimal, 50c maximum — since it affects handling and fender clearance

Key Features

Frame and fork share ENVE M.O.D Carbon construction with a matched 12x142/12x100 thru-axle and flat-mount disc setup, keeping front and rear consistent under load. ENVE IN-Route internal routing keeps housing fully enclosed for a cleaner cockpit and easier long-term maintenance.

The bottom bracket is a threaded T47, which simplifies bearing service compared to press-fit standards, and the headset is ENVE's Integrated IS52/IS52 design with 1.5" bearings top and bottom for steering stiffness. Flat-mount disc brakes accept 160/180mm rotors up front and 140/160mm out back, with adapters required depending on rotor size chosen.

Wheel and tire compatibility is built around 700C only — ENVE does not recommend 650b on this frame. Tire clearance spans a 700x36c minimum to a 700x50c maximum, with 700x40-44c as the optimal range.

The frame's standout practicality feature is the integrated Cargo Bay, storage built into the downtube for carrying essentials without external bags. Combined with fender mounts, three bottle mounts, and top tube mounts, the frame supports both stripped-down racing and multi-day, self-supported riding.

Rider Intent Summary

Biggest strengths: 700x36-50c tire range, integrated Cargo Bay storage, and a 950g frame weight that keeps the platform race-capable

Tradeoffs: sold frameset-only, so a groupset, wheels, and brakes must be sourced separately; 650b wheels aren't supported

What makes it different: one carbon platform built to clear 50c tires while carrying in-frame storage, instead of treating racing and bikepacking as separate builds

Victory's Take

We like the MOG for riders who already know how they want their gravel bike built and want a frame that won't limit them on tire size or storage as their riding evolves. At Victory Bicycle Studio, we'd pair this frameset with a professional fit before ordering, since fork rake and sizing are matched pairs here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer free shipping?

We do offer free shipping on non-bike orders over $100. We do not offer free shipping for bicycles unless it is a one time promotion. Generally, bike shipping will cost $150 and that covers just the shipping of the bike with no assembly. If you were to bring that bike to your local mechanic or bike store, you would pay them their assembly fee. If you choose our Professional Assembly option for $200, our service technicians would assemble the bike before shipping and then re-pack the bike safely for transit. When you receive the bike you would attach the front wheel, attach the seatpost/saddle, and raise the handlebars and clamp them. Those three items do have to be detached to minimize or eliminate the chance of damage in transit.

How much does shipping cost?

For orders of parts, accessories, apparel, etc. on orders under $100, shipping is a flat rate of $9.99. Regular bike shipping without assembly is $150, bike shipping with Professional Assembly is an additional $200 (so $350 in total which includes the $150 of regular shipping). Our White Glove Delivery option is $699 and that will cover the assembly of the bike and our White Glove Delivery partner delivering your dream bike to your front door, ready to ride!

How can I track my order?

When you place your online order, you will receive an instantaneous email update with your order number and order details, and shortly after, you will receive a follow up order email with the tracking number for your order.  If you still need assistance with your order, feel free to email us at online@victorybicyclestudio.com and we will respond asap.
