About The Factor Elara Premium Package Carbon Gravel Bike Frameset
The Factor Elara Premium Package Carbon Gravel Bike Frameset is a full carbon gravel race frameset engineered by Factor for the fastest end of competitive gravel — events like the UCI Gravel World Series, the Gravel Earth Series, and the World Championships. This is a frameset package, not a complete bike: no groupset or wheels are included, but it ships with the frame, fork, the Factor Race Bar Black Inc Aero Gravel Bar AB07 integrated cockpit, and a Factor aero-profile carbon seatpost. Geometry is drawn from Factor's road platforms — longer reach, reduced trail, and a lower bottom bracket than a typical gravel bike — for a race position that carries road-level speed onto rough terrain.
Tire clearance reaches 57mm at 700c, but the more telling detail is how Factor got there without forcing a drivetrain compromise: an offset seat-tube junction and split-plane rear triangle with a lowered drive-side stay hold the chainstay at 423mm while clearing a 2x drivetrain and 47mm tires, or 57mm tires when run 1x. The front triangle borrows aero shaping from Factor's ONE and OSTRO VAM road programs, and CFD testing shows measurable drag reduction with 45-57mm tires mounted, putting aero efficiency close to a modern road frame despite the wider rubber.
Who It's For
-
Competitive gravel racers targeting UCI-sanctioned or elite-level events who want a race-specific frame, not a do-it-all gravel bike
-
Riders who already have a groupset and wheelset in mind, or plan to source them separately — this is a frameset package, not a complete bike
-
Riders coming from road racing who want a position that translates directly, rather than a more upright gravel fit
-
Riders who want a 2x drivetrain without giving up wide tire clearance
-
Consider a different bike if you need multi-day bikepacking capability, a more versatile mixed-terrain frame, or a complete bike out of the box
What to Look For
-
Frameset only — budget for a groupset and wheelset separately; the rear axle supports UDH for standardized derailleur hanger compatibility
-
Drivetrain choice affects tire clearance: 47mm maximum with 2x, up to 57mm with 1x — decide drivetrain before tire width
-
Bottom bracket is T47A internal threaded — confirm crankset compatibility before ordering
Key Features
Frame and fork: full carbon construction, with a split-plane rear triangle and offset seat-tube junction engineered to clear wide tires alongside a 2x drivetrain. Layups favor torsional stiffness and impact control over vertical comfort. The fork uses a 1 1/2"-1 1/2" tapered steerer with flat mount disc brakes and a 12x100mm thru-axle; the rear axle is 12x142mm and supports UDH.
Braking and wheels: flat mount disc brakes front and rear, with tire clearance up to 57mm at 700c on Factor-approved rim widths — enough room for aggressive race tread without swapping frames between event types.
Cockpit and aero: the package includes Factor's new Race Bar Black Inc Aero Gravel Bar AB07, a one-piece cockpit with subtle flare, an integrated computer mount, and internal hose routing. The front triangle's aero shaping is CFD-validated for drag reduction with 45-57mm tires mounted, which matters as gravel race speeds climb.
Seatpost: a Factor aero-profile carbon seatpost with integrated clamp, in 0mm and 20mm offset, for dialing saddle position without altering the frame's race geometry.
Rider Intent Summary
-
Biggest strength: race-derived geometry with wide tire clearance that doesn't force a 1x-only drivetrain
-
Tradeoff: frameset only, with no wheels or groupset included, and a layup that favors stiffness over comfort-oriented compliance
-
What makes it different: a 423mm chainstay that clears both 57mm tires and a 2x drivetrain, achieved through an offset seat-tube junction and split-plane rear triangle most gravel race frames don't attempt
Victory's Take
At Victory Bicycle Studio, we see the Elara as a frame for riders who already know they're racing gravel seriously and want to build around their own component choices rather than accept a stock spec — the combination of 57mm clearance and 2x compatibility is the detail worth understanding before you buy.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer free shipping?
We do offer free shipping on non-bike orders over $100. We do not offer free shipping for bicycles unless it is a one time promotion. Generally, bike shipping will cost $150 and that covers just the shipping of the bike with no assembly. If you were to bring that bike to your local mechanic or bike store, you would pay them their assembly fee. If you choose our Professional Assembly option for $200, our service technicians would assemble the bike before shipping and then re-pack the bike safely for transit. When you receive the bike you would attach the front wheel, attach the seatpost/saddle, and raise the handlebars and clamp them. Those three items do have to be detached to minimize or eliminate the chance of damage in transit.
How much does shipping cost?
For orders of parts, accessories, apparel, etc. on orders under $100, shipping is a flat rate of $9.99. Regular bike shipping without assembly is $150, bike shipping with Professional Assembly is an additional $200 (so $350 in total which includes the $150 of regular shipping). Our White Glove Delivery option is $699 and that will cover the assembly of the bike and our White Glove Delivery partner delivering your dream bike to your front door, ready to ride!
How can I track my order?
When you place your online order, you will receive an instantaneous email update with your order number and order details, and shortly after, you will receive a follow up order email with the tracking number for your order. If you still need assistance with your order, feel free to email us at online@victorybicyclestudio.com and we will respond asap.
