About The Factor Sarana With Suspension Carbon Premium Package Gravel Bike Frameset

The Factor Sarana with Suspension Carbon Premium Package Gravel Bike Frameset is a gravel race frameset purpose-built for ultra-distance, self-supported racing — events measured in days, not hours, where a rider is their own mechanic and navigator for the duration. It pairs a Toray/Nippon Graphite Pan-Based Fiber carbon frame with the Factor SARANA Suspension carbon fork, delivering 30mm of front travel without altering the bike's handling or geometry. This frameset ships without wheels or a groupset, so it's a foundation for a rider who wants to spec the rest of the build themselves.

What sets the Sarana apart is a leaf-spring seat-stay system: dropped stays and an offset seat tube create in-plane flex that absorbs rough-road vibration while keeping the rear end stiff for power transfer. That seat tube offset also lets Factor hold 425mm chainstays across every frame size, paired with a 65mm trail (tire-size dependent) for handling that stays sharp despite generous tire clearance. The geometry was developed with Canadian ultra racer and 2025 Unbound XL champion Rob Britton, tuned specifically to hold rider composure and control as fatigue sets in over multi-day efforts.

Who It's For

  • Riders training for or racing ultra-distance gravel events — self-supported, multi-day, mixed terrain

  • Riders who want front suspension without sacrificing race-oriented handling

  • Riders building a custom spec around an electronic groupset and their own component preferences

  • Not for riders who want a complete, ready-to-ride bike out of the box — this is a frameset only, with no wheels or groupset included

What to Look For

  • Frameset only — you'll need to source your own wheels, groupset, and finishing kit; cable routing is internal and electronic-shifting compatible

  • Bottom bracket standard — CeramicSpeed T47A WIDE aluminum cups, with CeramicSpeed bearings available for DUB and 24mm cranksets, so confirm crank compatibility before ordering

  • Cockpit and dropper compatibility — the FSA SL-K SB0 seatpost accepts a 30.9mm dropper for technical descents, and the Black Inc integrated barstem is available in multiple lengths and widths for fit

Key Features

The carbon fork's 30mm of travel is the frameset's defining feature — Factor designed it to add compliance on rough terrain without changing the bike's steering geometry or handling character, so the bike doesn't feel like a different machine when the fork is working. The leaf-spring seat-stay design does the same job at the rear: dropped stays and an offset seat tube flex in-plane to smooth vibration on long days in the saddle, while the offset allows 425mm chainstays at every size — keeping the rear end compact and responsive rather than growing sluggish on larger frames. The CeramicSpeed T47A WIDE bottom bracket with aluminum cups is built for durability and low friction over long mileage, and the 1.5" upper and lower headset bearings are sized for stability under a loaded, self-supported setup. Internal, electronic-compatible cable routing keeps the build clean regardless of groupset choice.

Rider Intent Summary

  • Biggest strengths: front suspension and rear-end vibration damping delivered without a geometry or handling penalty, plus consistent 425mm chainstays across all sizes

  • Tradeoffs: frameset only — no wheels or groupset, so the total build cost and component decisions fall to the buyer

  • What makes it different: geometry and construction developed directly with ultra racer Rob Britton and tested through British Columbia's varied terrain, purpose-built for multi-day self-supported racing rather than general-purpose gravel riding

Victory's Take

We see the Sarana as a frameset for the rider who already knows what an ultra-distance race demands and wants to build a bike around that specific mission. At Victory Bicycle Studio, we'd pair this frame with a professional fit before component selection, given how much the suspension fork and seat-stay flex change what "comfortable" means over a multi-day event.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer free shipping?

We do offer free shipping on non-bike orders over $100. We do not offer free shipping for bicycles unless it is a one time promotion. Generally, bike shipping will cost $150 and that covers just the shipping of the bike with no assembly. If you were to bring that bike to your local mechanic or bike store, you would pay them their assembly fee. If you choose our Professional Assembly option for $200, our service technicians would assemble the bike before shipping and then re-pack the bike safely for transit. When you receive the bike you would attach the front wheel, attach the seatpost/saddle, and raise the handlebars and clamp them. Those three items do have to be detached to minimize or eliminate the chance of damage in transit.

How much does shipping cost?

For orders of parts, accessories, apparel, etc. on orders under $100, shipping is a flat rate of $9.99. Regular bike shipping without assembly is $150, bike shipping with Professional Assembly is an additional $200 (so $350 in total which includes the $150 of regular shipping). Our White Glove Delivery option is $699 and that will cover the assembly of the bike and our White Glove Delivery partner delivering your dream bike to your front door, ready to ride!

How can I track my order?

When you place your online order, you will receive an instantaneous email update with your order number and order details, and shortly after, you will receive a follow up order email with the tracking number for your order.  If you still need assistance with your order, feel free to email us at online@victorybicyclestudio.com and we will respond asap.
