About The Pinarello Dogma GR Carbon Gravel Bike Frameset

The Pinarello Dogma GR is a gravel race frameset built for riders who want the aerodynamic efficiency of Pinarello's road race bikes carried over to unpaved terrain. It pairs a TorayCa M40X high-modulus carbon fiber frame with a redesigned eTICR Onda fork, and accommodates up to 45mm front and 42mm rear tire clearance (measured) — enough for mixed-surface and gravel-race tire setups without moving into high-volume bikepacking territory.

This is a frameset, not a complete bike. The frame, fork, integrated headset, Pinarello Aero carbon seatpost, thru-axles, and internal cable-routing hardware are included, along with a downtube-integrated tool bag and storage system. Cockpit, groupset, wheels, saddle, and brakes are sold separately, so this is a platform for riders who want to spec their own build rather than buy a stock complete.

Who It's For

  • Riders building a race-oriented gravel bike who want road-bike handling and aero efficiency applied to gravel courses
  • Riders planning a fully custom build — groupset, wheels, cockpit, saddle, and brakes are not included
  • Riders working with a shop on frame sizing and component spec, since this ships as a frameset rather than a complete bike
  • Not a fit for riders who want a plug-and-play complete bike, or who need tire clearance beyond 45mm front / 42mm rear

What to Look For

  • Frame size and fit — the Dogma GR's racing geometry (seat tube and head tube angles tuned for an aero, stable position) rewards a fit check before ordering, especially for riders coming from a more upright gravel setup

  • Tire clearance ceiling — 45mm front / 42mm rear (measured) is the hard limit; confirm your intended tire width fits before committing to this frame

  • Total build budget — since groupset, wheels, cockpit, saddle, and brakes are all separate purchases, price the full build, not just the frameset

Key Features

Frame and fork: The frame is TorayCa M40X high-modulus carbon fiber in an aerodynamic gravel race design. The new eTICR Onda fork runs a 1.5" upper and lower steerer with ForkFlap™, paired with a redesigned elliptical steerer tube and eTICR headset using differentiated bearings — wider at the bottom, narrower at the top — to keep the head tube narrow while maintaining steering precision. The headtube shape itself traces back to the aero "nose" first introduced on the DOGMA F8, refined here to reduce frontal volume and width.

Cable routing and bottom bracket: Routing runs fully integrated internally through the eTICR system, and the bottom bracket is Italian threaded — a standard some riders prefer over press-fit for ease of long-term maintenance.

Brake and axle standard: The frame is built around flat-mount disc brakes with rotor compatibility up to 160mm front and rear, using 12x100mm front / 12x142mm rear thru-axles.

Seatpost: The Pinarello Aero carbon seatpost uses a 3D-printed titanium clamp and an integrated TwinForce clamp system, shaped to balance stiffness, aerodynamics, and vibration absorption for more consistent pedaling position on uneven terrain.

Rider Intent Summary

  • Biggest strength: Aero-focused frame and fork design drawn from Pinarello's road race lineage, adapted with gravel-appropriate geometry and tire clearance

  • Tradeoff: Frameset-only purchase — no groupset, wheels, cockpit, saddle, or brakes included, and tire clearance tops out at 45mm/42mm

  • What makes it different: The eTICR fork and headset (elliptical steerer, differentiated bearings) and the TwinForce integrated seatpost clamp are specific to this platform, not carryover parts from a generic gravel frame

Victory's Take

We see the Dogma GR as a frame for riders who already know they want race-geometry handling on gravel and are ready to build it out to spec — it's the kind of project where Victory Bicycle Studio's fit and build expertise matters most, since the frameset only tells half the story.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer free shipping?

We do offer free shipping on non-bike orders over $100. We do not offer free shipping for bicycles unless it is a one time promotion. Generally, bike shipping will cost $150 and that covers just the shipping of the bike with no assembly. If you were to bring that bike to your local mechanic or bike store, you would pay them their assembly fee. If you choose our Professional Assembly option for $200, our service technicians would assemble the bike before shipping and then re-pack the bike safely for transit. When you receive the bike you would attach the front wheel, attach the seatpost/saddle, and raise the handlebars and clamp them. Those three items do have to be detached to minimize or eliminate the chance of damage in transit.

How much does shipping cost?

For orders of parts, accessories, apparel, etc. on orders under $100, shipping is a flat rate of $9.99. Regular bike shipping without assembly is $150, bike shipping with Professional Assembly is an additional $200 (so $350 in total which includes the $150 of regular shipping). Our White Glove Delivery option is $699 and that will cover the assembly of the bike and our White Glove Delivery partner delivering your dream bike to your front door, ready to ride!

How can I track my order?

When you place your online order, you will receive an instantaneous email update with your order number and order details, and shortly after, you will receive a follow up order email with the tracking number for your order.  If you still need assistance with your order, feel free to email us at online@victorybicyclestudio.com and we will respond asap.
