About The SRAM GX Eagle Fat Bike 12-Speed 30T DUB Crankset

The SRAM GX Eagle DUB Fat Bike crankset is made for fat bikes running 12-speed Eagle, with forged aluminum arms and a 30T X-SYNC 2 direct mount chainring. It is offered for 170mm or 190mm rear spacing, so you pick the version that matches your frame.

Arm lengths are 165, 170 and 175mm, though not every length is offered for both spacings. The bottom bracket is sold separately.

Who It's For

  • Fat bike riders on SRAM Eagle 12-speed drivetrains
  • Frames with 170mm or 190mm rear spacing (listed as 170/177 and 190/197 hubs)
  • Riders who want a 30T ring for low gearing in snow and sand
  • Consider a different crank if your bike has standard Boost or SuperBoost mountain spacing, or a non-DUB bottom bracket

What to Look For

  • Rear spacing: choose 170mm or 190mm to match your frame. The 165mm arm is offered only in the 190mm version.
  • Spindle interface: SRAM DUB, bottom bracket not included.
  • Length: 165, 170 or 175mm.

Key Features

7000-series forged aluminum arms hold up to cold, wet and gritty fat bike conditions, where durability matters more than grams.

The crank uses a SRAM DUB spindle. Fat bike frames use wider bottom bracket shells, so confirm the DUB bottom bracket for your exact shell; it is not included.

The 30T X-SYNC 2 chainring mounts directly and is designed for Eagle chains. The smaller ring gives easier gearing for pushing big tires through soft surfaces.

Spacing is the key choice: the 170mm and 190mm versions position the ring for different rear hub standards, so ordering the wrong one will cause poor shifting or chain rub.

Rider Intent Summary

  • Biggest strengths: A fat-bike-specific GX Eagle crank with a low 30T ring, durable aluminum arms and two spacing options.
  • Tradeoffs: Not all lengths come in both spacings, the bottom bracket is extra, and it will not suit standard mountain bike spacing.
  • What makes it different: It is built around fat bike hub standards, which most mountain cranks don't cover.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer free shipping?

We do offer free shipping on non-bike orders over $100. We do not offer free shipping for bicycles unless it is a one time promotion. Generally, bike shipping will cost $150 and that covers just the shipping of the bike with no assembly. If you were to bring that bike to your local mechanic or bike store, you would pay them their assembly fee. If you choose our Professional Assembly option for $200, our service technicians would assemble the bike before shipping and then re-pack the bike safely for transit. When you receive the bike you would attach the front wheel, attach the seatpost/saddle, and raise the handlebars and clamp them. Those three items do have to be detached to minimize or eliminate the chance of damage in transit.

How much does shipping cost?

For orders of parts, accessories, apparel, etc. on orders under $100, shipping is a flat rate of $9.99. Regular bike shipping without assembly is $150, bike shipping with Professional Assembly is an additional $200 (so $350 in total which includes the $150 of regular shipping). Our White Glove Delivery option is $699 and that will cover the assembly of the bike and our White Glove Delivery partner delivering your dream bike to your front door, ready to ride!

How can I track my order?

When you place your online order, you will receive an instantaneous email update with your order number and order details, and shortly after, you will receive a follow up order email with the tracking number for your order.  If you still need assistance with your order, feel free to email us at online@victorybicyclestudio.com and we will respond asap.
