About The SRAM Rival E1 12-Speed 2x DUB Crankset

The SRAM Rival 12-speed crankset is an aluminum 2x road crank on SRAM DUB, with an integrated aluminum chainring built around SRAM's X-Range gearing. It is a clean way to put modern 12-speed double gearing on a road or all-road bike.

You choose between 46/33T and 48/35T rings, each offered in 160, 165, 170, 172.5 and 175mm arms. Chainline is 45mm and the DUB bottom bracket is sold separately, so plan your frame's bottom bracket alongside the crank.

Who It's For

  • Road riders building or upgrading a 12-speed SRAM 2x drivetrain
  • Riders who want shorter arm options down to 160mm
  • Bikes with 135/142 road disc rear spacing
  • Consider a different crank if your frame needs GXP, BB30 or a 1x ring

What to Look For

  • Spindle interface: SRAM DUB. You will need a DUB bottom bracket for your frame; it is not included.
  • Gearing: 46/33T for lower climbing gears, 48/35T for a taller top end. Both are 12-speed.
  • Crank length: 160 to 175mm in 2.5mm and 5mm steps; choose by fit.

Key Features

Aluminum arms. SRAM shapes the arms to put material only where it is needed for stiffness to weight, and states the package is over 50 grams lighter than the previous generation.

DUB spindle. The DUB spindle is SRAM's current bottom bracket platform. The bottom bracket is sold separately, which lets you choose the version for your frame's shell.

Integrated 2x chainring. The aluminum double ring mounts via SRAM's 8-bolt direct mount interface and uses X-Range gearing, which SRAM designs for wider range and a smoother progression between gears. Chainline is 45mm.

Fit options. Black finish, 9/16" pedal threads and five arm lengths, including 160mm for riders who benefit from a shorter crank.

Rider Intent Summary

  • Biggest strengths: 12-speed 2x gearing in two ratios with a wide spread of arm lengths.
  • Tradeoffs: DUB bottom bracket sold separately; integrated rings mean the ring set is replaced as one unit.
  • What makes it different: An integrated 8-bolt direct mount double ring rather than a bolted ring pair.

Victory's Take

At Victory Bicycle Studio we match 46/33T or 48/35T to how and where you ride, then confirm crank length during a fit. If you are unsure which DUB bottom bracket your frame takes, we can sort that out with the order.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer free shipping?

We do offer free shipping on non-bike orders over $100. We do not offer free shipping for bicycles unless it is a one time promotion. Generally, bike shipping will cost $150 and that covers just the shipping of the bike with no assembly. If you were to bring that bike to your local mechanic or bike store, you would pay them their assembly fee. If you choose our Professional Assembly option for $200, our service technicians would assemble the bike before shipping and then re-pack the bike safely for transit. When you receive the bike you would attach the front wheel, attach the seatpost/saddle, and raise the handlebars and clamp them. Those three items do have to be detached to minimize or eliminate the chance of damage in transit.

How much does shipping cost?

For orders of parts, accessories, apparel, etc. on orders under $100, shipping is a flat rate of $9.99. Regular bike shipping without assembly is $150, bike shipping with Professional Assembly is an additional $200 (so $350 in total which includes the $150 of regular shipping). Our White Glove Delivery option is $699 and that will cover the assembly of the bike and our White Glove Delivery partner delivering your dream bike to your front door, ready to ride!

How can I track my order?

When you place your online order, you will receive an instantaneous email update with your order number and order details, and shortly after, you will receive a follow up order email with the tracking number for your order.  If you still need assistance with your order, feel free to email us at online@victorybicyclestudio.com and we will respond asap.
