About The SRAM Rival XPLR AXS E1 Wide 13-Speed 1x 42T DUB Power Meter Crankset
This is the power meter version of SRAM's Rival 1x XPLR Wide crankset: a 42T direct mount X-Sync ring, a DUB spindle and a spindle-based power unit that sits inside the crank. It is built for gravel and road riders on 12/13-speed XPLR drivetrains who want training data without a separate pedal or hub system.
Power is measured on the left side and doubled to calculate total watts. The 42T ring is offered in 160, 165, 170, 172.5 and 175mm arms, chainline is 47.5mm, and the DUB bottom bracket is sold separately.
Who It's For
- Gravel and road riders running a SRAM 1x XPLR 12/13-speed drivetrain
- Riders who want built-in power data from the crank
- Riders comfortable with left-side measurement rather than true left/right balance
- Consider a different crank if you need a 2x setup or independent left/right power figures
What to Look For
- Spindle interface: SRAM DUB power meter spindle. A DUB bottom bracket is required and sold separately.
- Chainline: 47.5mm wide chainline with a 150mm Q-factor; check your frame and drivetrain are set up for the Wide crank.
- Ring and length: 42T only; choose 160 to 175mm by fit.
Key Features
Spindle-based power. The power unit is housed in the DUB spindle and measures left-side power, which is doubled to estimate total output. It runs on a user-replaceable AAA lithium battery that SRAM rates for 400+ hours, and it is IPX7 waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
DUB spindle and wide stance. The DUB spindle keeps bottom bracket choice straightforward, though the bottom bracket itself is sold separately. SRAM lists a 150mm Q-factor and 47.5mm chainline for this Wide crank.
42T direct mount X-Sync ring. The aluminum ring uses SRAM's 8-bolt direct mount interface and X-Sync narrow-wide teeth for chain retention on rough gravel without a front derailleur.
Finish and lengths. Black finish, 9/16" pedal threads, and five arm lengths from 160mm.
Rider Intent Summary
- Biggest strengths: Power, a 1x gravel ring and a wide chainline in one DUB crankset.
- Tradeoffs: Left-side-only measurement; bottom bracket sold separately; single 42T ring.
- What makes it different: The power meter lives in the spindle, so the crank looks and mounts like the non-power XPLR Wide.
Victory's Take
At Victory Bicycle Studio we like this crank for gravel riders starting to train with power, as long as they understand the number is left-leg based. We will confirm your frame works with the Wide chainline before you commit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer free shipping?
We do offer free shipping on non-bike orders over $100. We do not offer free shipping for bicycles unless it is a one time promotion. Generally, bike shipping will cost $150 and that covers just the shipping of the bike with no assembly. If you were to bring that bike to your local mechanic or bike store, you would pay them their assembly fee. If you choose our Professional Assembly option for $200, our service technicians would assemble the bike before shipping and then re-pack the bike safely for transit. When you receive the bike you would attach the front wheel, attach the seatpost/saddle, and raise the handlebars and clamp them. Those three items do have to be detached to minimize or eliminate the chance of damage in transit.
How much does shipping cost?
For orders of parts, accessories, apparel, etc. on orders under $100, shipping is a flat rate of $9.99. Regular bike shipping without assembly is $150, bike shipping with Professional Assembly is an additional $200 (so $350 in total which includes the $150 of regular shipping). Our White Glove Delivery option is $699 and that will cover the assembly of the bike and our White Glove Delivery partner delivering your dream bike to your front door, ready to ride!
How can I track my order?
When you place your online order, you will receive an instantaneous email update with your order number and order details, and shortly after, you will receive a follow up order email with the tracking number for your order.
