About The SRAM Rival XPLR E1 Wide 13-Speed 1x 42T DUB Crankset

The SRAM Rival 1x XPLR Wide is an aluminum gravel crankset with a 42T direct mount X-Sync ring and a longer DUB spindle. SRAM designed the wide chainline for use with Full Mount rear derailleurs, and the extended spindle lets the crank fit both road-width and MTB-width bottom bracket shells.

It is offered in 160, 165, 170, 172.5 and 175mm arms with a 47.5mm chainline and 150mm Q-factor. SRAM lists compatibility with 135, 142 and Boost rear spacing. The DUB bottom bracket is sold separately.

Who It's For

  • Gravel riders on SRAM 1x XPLR 12/13-speed drivetrains
  • Builds using a Full Mount rear derailleur that calls for the wide chainline
  • Frames with road-width or MTB-width bottom bracket shells
  • Consider a different crank if you run a 2x drivetrain or need built-in power

What to Look For

  • Spindle interface: longer SRAM DUB spindle; pick the DUB bottom bracket for your frame (not included).
  • Chainline and spacing: 47.5mm chainline, 150mm Q-factor; SRAM lists 135, 142 and Boost rear spacing.
  • Crank length: 160 to 175mm with a 42T ring.

Key Features

Aluminum arms. SRAM shapes the arms to place material only where it is needed for stiffness, keeping a robust aluminum crank light enough for long gravel days.

Longer DUB spindle. The extended spindle is what lets this crank fit both road and MTB width bottom bracket standards. The bottom bracket is sold separately, so you choose the right one for your shell.

42T X-Sync direct mount ring. Narrow-wide X-Sync teeth on an aluminum ring keep the chain in place over rough ground, and the 8-bolt direct mount interface keeps the ring stiff.

Wide chainline. The 47.5mm chainline matches SRAM's Full Mount rear derailleur setup and supports Boost rear spacing as well as 135 and 142.

Rider Intent Summary

  • Biggest strengths: Cross-compatibility across road and MTB shells with a gravel-ready 1x ring.
  • Tradeoffs: Bottom bracket sold separately; 42T is the only ring offered here; no power meter.
  • What makes it different: A longer DUB spindle and 47.5mm chainline, set up for SRAM's Full Mount derailleurs.

Victory's Take

At Victory Bicycle Studio we check two things before this crank goes on: your bottom bracket shell width and whether your drivetrain is set up for the Wide chainline. Get those right and it is a simple, durable gravel crank.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer free shipping?

We do offer free shipping on non-bike orders over $100. We do not offer free shipping for bicycles unless it is a one time promotion. Generally, bike shipping will cost $150 and that covers just the shipping of the bike with no assembly. If you were to bring that bike to your local mechanic or bike store, you would pay them their assembly fee. If you choose our Professional Assembly option for $200, our service technicians would assemble the bike before shipping and then re-pack the bike safely for transit. When you receive the bike you would attach the front wheel, attach the seatpost/saddle, and raise the handlebars and clamp them. Those three items do have to be detached to minimize or eliminate the chance of damage in transit.

How much does shipping cost?

For orders of parts, accessories, apparel, etc. on orders under $100, shipping is a flat rate of $9.99. Regular bike shipping without assembly is $150, bike shipping with Professional Assembly is an additional $200 (so $350 in total which includes the $150 of regular shipping). Our White Glove Delivery option is $699 and that will cover the assembly of the bike and our White Glove Delivery partner delivering your dream bike to your front door, ready to ride!

How can I track my order?

When you place your online order, you will receive an instantaneous email update with your order number and order details, and shortly after, you will receive a follow up order email with the tracking number for your order.  If you still need assistance with your order, feel free to email us at online@victorybicyclestudio.com and we will respond asap.
