ENVE builds the rim around its own Wide Hookless Bead, engineered specifically to resist pinch flats on tubeless setups by giving the tire more surface area to rely on during hard bottom-outs. Combined with a molded tubeless bead-lock, this lets riders run notably lower tire pressures — some into the 20s psi — without the sealing issues that typically come with soft tubeless setups.
