About The Factor Aluto Carbon Standard Package Gravel Bike Frameset

The Factor ALUTO Carbon Standard Package is a gravel bike frameset — the frame, fork, seatpost, and cockpit foundation for a build you complete with your own wheelset and groupset. It's molded from Toray and Nippon Graphite pan-based carbon fiber and paired with a Factor ALUTO carbon fork, giving you a race-proven platform to build around rather than a finished bike off the shelf.

Factor engineered the ALUTO to move between rough tarmac, gravel, and technical trail without a bike change, with tube shaping and carbon lay-up tuned to stay stiff where power transfer matters and forgiving where long days in the saddle demand it. What sets the ALUTO apart in this category is its integrated down tube storage — an aero-shaped compartment for a tube, tire levers, and a multitool that removes the need for a saddle or bar bag on long rides.

Who It's For

  • Riders building a race-capable gravel bike from the frame up who plan to source their own electronic groupset and wheels

  • Riders racing or riding long — built for everything from short technical gravel courses to 300km adventures

  • Riders who want integrated tool storage and clean internal cable routing without a bag's added drag

  • Consider a different frameset if you want a complete, ready-to-ride bike or a mechanical (non-electronic) drivetrain — the ALUTO accepts electronic shifting and hydraulic disc brakes only

What to Look For

  • Drivetrain compatibility: the frame accepts electronic drivetrains only with hydraulic disc brakes — there's no provision for a mechanical shift cable

  • Bottom bracket standard: the Standard Package ships without one — plan for SRAM DUB T47a or FSA (SH24) depending on your groupset

  • Fit and setup: seatpost setback (0mm or 25mm) and the Black Inc Integrated Barstem (75mm reach, 116mm drop, multiple lengths and widths) both shape your position — confirm fit before ordering

Key Features

Frame and fork: Built from Toray and Nippon Graphite pan-based carbon fiber and matched to a minimal-volume Factor ALUTO carbon fork, the tube shaping and carbon lay-up deliver stiffness where power transfer counts and compliance where fatigue resistance matters on long rides.

Geometry: Short chainstays, a lowered bottom bracket, and a short wheelbase lower the center of gravity and keep handling agile despite the added height of gravel tires. Compared to Factor's OSTRO Gravel, the ALUTO runs a slightly slacker head tube angle with equally short chainstays, but a higher stack — trading a touch of the OSTRO's race-low position for a more adaptable fit.

Drivetrain and braking: The frame is compatible with 1x and 2x electronic drivetrains and hydraulic disc brakes only — no mechanical routing is provided, which keeps cable ports minimal and internal routing clean.

Tire and wheel compatibility: Maximum tire clearance is 47mm measured, with the frame's handling geometry optimized around a 45mm tire for the best balance of volume and sharp handling.

Standout technology: Integrated down tube storage holds a tube, tire levers, and a multitool without a saddle or bar bag. A UDH-compatible rear dropout future-proofs the frame for upcoming drivetrain standards, and a round 27.2mm seatpost with external clamp keeps dropper post upgrades straightforward. Multiple mounting points support bottle cages and a bento box for race day or all-day adventures.

Rider Intent Summary

  • Biggest strengths: agile, balanced race geometry; integrated down tube storage; a UDH-compatible dropout for future drivetrain flexibility

  • Tradeoffs: frameset only (no wheels or groupset included), and it accepts electronic drivetrains exclusively — no mechanical option

  • What makes it different: down tube storage on a race-oriented frame, plus a higher stack than the OSTRO Gravel for a more adaptable fit

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer free shipping?

We do offer free shipping on non-bike orders over $100. We do not offer free shipping for bicycles unless it is a one time promotion. Generally, bike shipping will cost $150 and that covers just the shipping of the bike with no assembly. If you were to bring that bike to your local mechanic or bike store, you would pay them their assembly fee. If you choose our Professional Assembly option for $200, our service technicians would assemble the bike before shipping and then re-pack the bike safely for transit. When you receive the bike you would attach the front wheel, attach the seatpost/saddle, and raise the handlebars and clamp them. Those three items do have to be detached to minimize or eliminate the chance of damage in transit.

How much does shipping cost?

For orders of parts, accessories, apparel, etc. on orders under $100, shipping is a flat rate of $9.99. Regular bike shipping without assembly is $150, bike shipping with Professional Assembly is an additional $200 (so $350 in total which includes the $150 of regular shipping). Our White Glove Delivery option is $699 and that will cover the assembly of the bike and our White Glove Delivery partner delivering your dream bike to your front door, ready to ride!

How can I track my order?

When you place your online order, you will receive an instantaneous email update with your order number and order details, and shortly after, you will receive a follow up order email with the tracking number for your order.  If you still need assistance with your order, feel free to email us at online@victorybicyclestudio.com and we will respond asap.
