About The Giordana Woman's Fusion Cycling Bib Shorts

Giordana's Women's Fusion Bib Cycling Shorts are built around a redesigned, higher-rise waistband and a soft-compression 230 gram Lycra fabric, aimed at riders who want all-day comfort on the bike without a race-tight feel. The waist panel is taller than the previous generation and wraps around the hips, with the front starting further down than before — a change that reduces pressure and gapping while you're bent over in the riding position.

The bib pairs that updated fit with the Women's Cirro-W chamois and new integrated 7.5cm leg bands that apply light compression to keep the short in place without cutting in. It's a short built for comfort first, making it a strong fit for riders logging long miles or anyone who finds race-cut bibs too aggressive.

Who It's For

  • Riders who want a taller, higher-rise bib that stays comfortable through hours in the saddle
  • Cyclists who prefer a softer, more casual compression feel over a race-tight fit
  • Anyone who's had leg bands ride up or dig in — the 7.5cm integrated bands are designed to hold without pinching
  • Century, gran fondo, and daily-training riders looking for a quality women's-specific chamois
  • Riders chasing an aggressive, firm-compression race fit should look at a more performance-oriented bib in Giordana's line

What to Look For

  • Rise and waist coverage — this bib's taller waist panel suits riders who want more coverage and less pressure while leaning into the drops
  • Compression preference — the 230 gram Lycra is a soft, casual-feel fabric rather than a firm, race-compression material
  • Chamois fit — confirm the Cirro-W pad's shape and density match your typical ride length and position

Key Features

The redesigned waistband starts lower in front and wraps around the hips for a higher rise than the previous Fusion generation, cutting down on gapping and pressure points when you're in a riding position for extended periods. The 230 gram Lycra delivers soft compression rather than a firm, race-oriented squeeze, suiting riders who want the bib to disappear rather than hug tightly. The Women's Cirro-W chamois is shaped for women's anatomy, and the new 7.5cm integrated leg bands add light compression at the hem to keep the short anchored through the pedal stroke without the tightness of older leg-gripper designs. A tall, soft, straight-cut leg hem rounds out the fit, while reflective accents at the back of the legs add a measure of visibility on low-light rides. The shorts are made in Italy.

Rider Intent Summary

  • Biggest strength: a taller, more forgiving rise paired with light-compression leg bands built to stay put without pinching
  • Tradeoff: the soft-compression Lycra favors comfort over the firm, race-tight hold some racers prefer
  • What makes it different: a reworked waist panel and hip wrap specifically aimed at reducing pressure and gapping in the riding position, versus the brand's previous Fusion generation

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer free shipping?

We do offer free shipping on non-bike orders over $100. We do not offer free shipping for bicycles unless it is a one time promotion. Generally, bike shipping will cost $150 and that covers just the shipping of the bike with no assembly. If you were to bring that bike to your local mechanic or bike store, you would pay them their assembly fee. If you choose our Professional Assembly option for $200, our service technicians would assemble the bike before shipping and then re-pack the bike safely for transit. When you receive the bike you would attach the front wheel, attach the seatpost/saddle, and raise the handlebars and clamp them. Those three items do have to be detached to minimize or eliminate the chance of damage in transit.

How much does shipping cost?

For orders of parts, accessories, apparel, etc. on orders under $100, shipping is a flat rate of $9.99. Regular bike shipping without assembly is $150, bike shipping with Professional Assembly is an additional $200 (so $350 in total which includes the $150 of regular shipping). Our White Glove Delivery option is $699 and that will cover the assembly of the bike and our White Glove Delivery partner delivering your dream bike to your front door, ready to ride!

How can I track my order?

When you place your online order, you will receive an instantaneous email update with your order number and order details, and shortly after, you will receive a follow up order email with the tracking number for your order.  If you still need assistance with your order, feel free to email us at online@victorybicyclestudio.com and we will respond asap.
