About The NiteRider Swift 700 Bicycle Headlight

The NiteRider Swift 700 is a USB-C rechargeable headlight built for riders who want serious daytime and nighttime visibility without adding bulk to the front of the bike. At 700 lumens on its brightest setting, it puts out enough light to ride unlit roads and trails, while weighing just 82 grams — light enough to mount on a road, gravel, or commuter bike without the front end feeling top-heavy.

What sets the Swift 700 apart is its run-time range across five modes: a 2-hour High mode at full 700 lumens, a 700-lumen Flash mode rated for 14 hours, and a Walk mode that stretches to 33 hours 30 minutes at 50 lumens. That spread means one light can cover a hard group ride, a daily commute, or an all-day tour without swapping equipment. It's IP64 rated for water and dust resistance, and it includes a low battery indicator so riders aren't guessing how much charge is left.

Who It's For

  • Commuters and everyday riders who want a dependable, rechargeable headlight for low-light and after-dark riding
  • Road and gravel riders who want a lightweight light (82g) that won't add noticeable weight up front
  • Riders who prioritize flexibility across ride lengths, thanks to run times spanning 2 to 33.5 hours depending on mode
  • Riders needing a light rated above 700 lumens for high-speed night descents should look at a higher-output model instead

What to Look For

  • Run time vs. brightness: High mode delivers the full 700 lumens but only for 2 hours — plan mode selection around ride length

  • Charging routine: USB-C rechargeable with a 2:00–3:15h charge time, so it shares a cable with most phones and accessories

  • Weather exposure: IP64 water/dust resistance is suited to wet-weather commuting and typical road riding conditions

Key Features

Five-mode output — Low (200 lm, 7:30h), Medium (400 lm, 4:30h), High (700 lm, 2:00h), Flash (700 lm, 14:00h), and Walk (50 lm, 33:30h) give riders a mode matched to nearly any ride length or visibility need, rather than a single fixed output.

USB-C rechargeable battery — Charges in 2:00–3:15h and includes a low battery level indicator, so riders can track remaining charge instead of being caught off guard mid-ride.

IP64 water/dust resistance — Rated to handle rain and road spray, which matters for anyone commuting or training outside of ideal conditions.

Travel Lock Mode — Ships locked from the factory to prevent the light from switching on in a bag or pocket; press and hold the power button for 8–10 seconds to lock or unlock it, a detail worth knowing before the first ride.

Rider Intent Summary

  • Biggest strength: Wide run-time range (2h–33.5h) across five modes at a low 82g weight
  • Tradeoff: Full 700-lumen output is only available for 2 hours before needing a lower mode or recharge
  • What makes it different: A dedicated 700-lumen Flash mode rated for 14 hours, plus factory Travel Lock Mode for safe transport

Victory's Take

We like the Swift 700 as a light riders can leave on the bike and actually rely on — the mode range covers everything from a quick commute to a long day out, and at 82 grams it disappears once it's mounted. Just remember it ships in Travel Lock Mode, so a press-and-hold on the power button is step one out of the box.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer free shipping?

We do offer free shipping on non-bike orders over $100. We do not offer free shipping for bicycles unless it is a one time promotion. Generally, bike shipping will cost $150 and that covers just the shipping of the bike with no assembly. If you were to bring that bike to your local mechanic or bike store, you would pay them their assembly fee. If you choose our Professional Assembly option for $200, our service technicians would assemble the bike before shipping and then re-pack the bike safely for transit. When you receive the bike you would attach the front wheel, attach the seatpost/saddle, and raise the handlebars and clamp them. Those three items do have to be detached to minimize or eliminate the chance of damage in transit.

How much does shipping cost?

For orders of parts, accessories, apparel, etc. on orders under $100, shipping is a flat rate of $9.99. Regular bike shipping without assembly is $150, bike shipping with Professional Assembly is an additional $200 (so $350 in total which includes the $150 of regular shipping). Our White Glove Delivery option is $699 and that will cover the assembly of the bike and our White Glove Delivery partner delivering your dream bike to your front door, ready to ride!

How can I track my order?

When you place your online order, you will receive an instantaneous email update with your order number and order details, and shortly after, you will receive a follow up order email with the tracking number for your order.  If you still need assistance with your order, feel free to email us at online@victorybicyclestudio.com and we will respond asap.
