About The Tifosi Sanctum SL Mirrored Sunglasses
The Tifosi Sanctum SL is a half-frame shield sunglass built for athletes who move between disciplines — running, pickleball, beach volleyball, and golf — without swapping eyewear. Its frameless lower lens design opens the field of view below eye level, removing visual clutter so runners can track the road and court or beach athletes can follow fast, low trajectories without interruption. At 27 grams, the frame is built to disappear on the face during long efforts, and the Sky Blue mirrored polycarbonate lens is shatterproof, scratch-resistant, and blocks 100% of UVA/UVB rays.
The frame is molded from Tifosi’s plant-based Thrive material, keeping weight low while holding up to repeated bending and impact. Hydrophilic rubber nose pads grip harder as sweat increases, and the Tifosi Glide hinge lets the arms slide on without snagging hair, keeping the fit anti-bounce through a tempo run or a long match. Sanctum SL is also available in prescription lenses, extending this shield profile to athletes who need corrective eyewear.
Who It’s For
• Multi-sport athletes who want one pair of sunglasses for running, pickleball, beach volleyball, and similar high-movement activities
• Runners who want a frameless lower lens for an unobstructed downward field of view
• Athletes who sweat heavily and need a nose pad that grips rather than slips
• Athletes who need prescription lenses in a performance shield frame
• Consider a different option if you need interchangeable lenses for varying light conditions
What to Look For
• Fit: Sanctum SL runs Medium-Large; confirm frame width against your face shape before buying, especially if layering with a running hat or visor
• Lens tint: this model is built around different tinted mirrored lenses, so decide whether the tint that you are looking for suits your primary light conditions before ordering
• Use case: prioritize this frame if your activity mixes running with racquet or court sports; a single-sport athlete with specific low-light needs may want to check lens options first
Key Features
Frame: The Thrive frame material is plant-based and engineered for a lightweight, durable build that holds its shape through repeated flexing, which matters for athletes who put the frame on and off multiple times a day.
Lens: The Tifosi Sanctum SL lenses are constructed with shatterproof, scratch-resistant polycarbonate with 100% UVA/UVB protection, giving reliable eye protection in bright, high-glare conditions without adding lens weight.
Fit and retention: Hydrophilic rubber nose pieces increase grip as perspiration builds, and the Tifosi Glide hinge lets the arms slide on smoothly for an anti-bounce fit, both of which matter directly to athletes who can’t afford mid-activity adjustments.
Design: The half-frame shield profile with a frameless lower lens expands the field of view below eye level, the detail that separates it from a standard full-frame sport sunglass for tracking a ball, the road, or the sand.
Rx availability: Sanctum SL is available in prescription lenses, worth confirming with your eye doctor before ordering if you need corrective lenses.
Rider Intent Summary
• Biggest strengths: frameless lower lens for unobstructed vision, sweat-resistant grip, and multi-sport versatility across running, pickleball, and beach volleyball
• Tradeoffs: ships with a single lens tint, so it isn’t built as a lens-swap system for changing light conditions
• What makes it different: the plant-based Thrive frame and frameless lower lens combination, paired with Rx availability
Victory’s Take
We like the Sanctum SL for athletes who need one pair of sunglasses to handle a run, a match, and a set without missing a beat. The frameless lower lens is a genuinely useful detail, not just a style choice, and Victory Bicycle Studio recommends confirming the Sky Blue tint suits your primary activity before you buy.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer free shipping?
We do offer free shipping on non-bike orders over $100. We do not offer free shipping for bicycles unless it is a one time promotion. Generally, bike shipping will cost $150 and that covers just the shipping of the bike with no assembly. If you were to bring that bike to your local mechanic or bike store, you would pay them their assembly fee. If you choose our Professional Assembly option for $200, our service technicians would assemble the bike before shipping and then re-pack the bike safely for transit. When you receive the bike you would attach the front wheel, attach the seatpost/saddle, and raise the handlebars and clamp them. Those three items do have to be detached to minimize or eliminate the chance of damage in transit.
How much does shipping cost?
For orders of parts, accessories, apparel, etc. on orders under $100, shipping is a flat rate of $9.99. Regular bike shipping without assembly is $150, bike shipping with Professional Assembly is an additional $200 (so $350 in total which includes the $150 of regular shipping). Our White Glove Delivery option is $699 and that will cover the assembly of the bike and our White Glove Delivery partner delivering your dream bike to your front door, ready to ride!
How can I track my order?
When you place your online order, you will receive an instantaneous email update with your order number and order details, and shortly after, you will receive a follow up order email with the tracking number for your order. If you still need assistance with your order, feel free to email us at online@victorybicyclestudio.com and we will respond asap.
