About The Tifosi Sylo Sport Sunglasses
The Tifosi Sylo is a versatile lifestyle sunglass built to move between activities without a change of gear — commute, trail, coffee run, or golf course — while still delivering the shatterproof polycarbonate lenses and 100% UVA/UVB protection riders expect from a performance frame. Its clean, modern silhouette is molded from Thrive, a bio-based resin derived from castor beans, making the Sylo noticeably light at 27 grams while reducing the frame’s reliance on fossil-fuel-based plastics.
What sets the Sylo apart in this category is Tifosi’s Glide technology, which keeps the frame seated comfortably against the face for an anti-bounce fit through hard efforts, and hydrophilic rubber nose pads that grip harder as you sweat instead of sliding. The frame is also available in a prescription-ready (Rx) build, giving optical customers a stylish, cycling-capable sunglass without needing a separate frame for corrective lenses.
Who It's For
• Riders who want one pair of sunglasses for cycling, commuting, and everyday wear rather than a bike-only frame.
• Cyclists who sweat heavily and need nose pads that grip rather than slip during hard efforts.
• Optical customers who want a stylish, Rx-ready sunglass instead of a dedicated cycling-specific frame.
• Riders who value a lower-impact frame material without giving up performance features.
• Golfers who want one frame for the course and everyday wear — the Enliven lens is tuned to enhance contrast and detail on the fairway.
• Riders who want maximum wraparound coverage or interchangeable lens tints should consider Tifosi’s dedicated sport-performance frames instead — the Sylo’s lifestyle silhouette is built for versatility, not full wraparound coverage.
What to Look For
• Lens option: non-polarized ($39.95) suits lower-light rides and everyday versatility; polarized ($59.95) cuts glare for road riding and driving.
• Fit: the Sylo is offered in a single Medium-Large fit — confirm frame width works for your face shape before ordering.
• Rx needs: if you wear prescription lenses, ask about the Rx-ready Sylo at fitting rather than defaulting to a separate cycling frame.
Key Features
Frame: the Thrive bio-based resin frame is built from castor bean resin rather than standard petroleum-based plastic, keeping weight down to 27 grams while lowering the material’s fossil-fuel footprint — a detail worth knowing for riders weighing gear against their environmental values.
Lenses: shatterproof polycarbonate lenses block 100% of UVA/UVB rays, protecting eyes on long rides without adding weight or bulk to the frame. The Enliven lens is engineered to enhance contrast and detail specifically for golf, while still holding up for everyday riding and commuting.
Fit and retention: hydrophilic rubber nose pads paired with Tifosi Glide technology keep the Sylo anchored and anti-bounce during hard efforts — grip improves as you sweat rather than degrading, which matters most on descents or rough terrain where a shifting sunglass is a real distraction.
Included and serviceable: each pair ships with a microfiber cleaning bag, and replacement nose pads are sold separately — a practical detail for riders planning to keep the frame in rotation long-term.
Rider Intent Summary
• Biggest strengths: lightweight bio-based frame (27g), anti-bounce fit with sweat-resistant grip, full UV protection, Rx-ready.
• Tradeoffs: single Medium-Large fit; lifestyle silhouette trades some wraparound coverage for everyday versatility.
• What makes it different: a castor-bean-based Thrive frame built to work across cycling, commuting, and off-bike activity in one pair.
Victory's Take
We recommend the Sylo to riders who want one pair of sunglasses that earns its keep on and off the bike — the sweat-resistant grip and Rx-ready option make it a practical, honestly priced pick we’re happy to fit at Victory Bicycle Studio.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer free shipping?
We do offer free shipping on non-bike orders over $100. We do not offer free shipping for bicycles unless it is a one time promotion. Generally, bike shipping will cost $150 and that covers just the shipping of the bike with no assembly. If you were to bring that bike to your local mechanic or bike store, you would pay them their assembly fee. If you choose our Professional Assembly option for $200, our service technicians would assemble the bike before shipping and then re-pack the bike safely for transit. When you receive the bike you would attach the front wheel, attach the seatpost/saddle, and raise the handlebars and clamp them. Those three items do have to be detached to minimize or eliminate the chance of damage in transit.
How much does shipping cost?
For orders of parts, accessories, apparel, etc. on orders under $100, shipping is a flat rate of $9.99. Regular bike shipping without assembly is $150, bike shipping with Professional Assembly is an additional $200 (so $350 in total which includes the $150 of regular shipping). Our White Glove Delivery option is $699 and that will cover the assembly of the bike and our White Glove Delivery partner delivering your dream bike to your front door, ready to ride!
How can I track my order?
When you place your online order, you will receive an instantaneous email update with your order number and order details, and shortly after, you will receive a follow up order email with the tracking number for your order.
