Bottle cages hold water bottles securely on the bike — a small component that matters when a bottle needs to stay put on rough roads, gravel, or trail.

Side-loading cages are designed for frames with limited vertical clearance, particularly on smaller road frames or bikes with tight tube angles where a standard cage would block access. Standard cages work on most road and mountain setups. Material affects weight and retention: plastic cages are light and secure; carbon cages save grams at the cost of some flexibility in bottle fit. Compatibility with your bottle diameter and cage mount position on the frame should be confirmed before buying.
