About The Tifosi Swank Sport Sunglasses
The Tifosi Swank is a sport sunglass built on Tifosi's Thrive frame, a plant-based frame material made from castor bean oil rather than petroleum-based plastic. At 25 grams, it's light enough to forget you're wearing it on a long ride or run, and the frame is sized for small to medium faces, a fit range a lot of sport sunglasses skip in favor of one-size-fits-most. The Pink Mirror lens is a shatterproof polycarbonate lens with 100% UVA/UVB protection, so the color choice doesn't cost you any UV coverage.
What sets the Swank apart from a typical pair of sport sunglasses is how well it stays put. An integrated hinge glides on without catching hair, hydrophilic nose pads grip harder as you sweat instead of sliding, and Tifosi's Glide technology keeps the frame seated through hard efforts, whether you're cycling, running, or moving between the two. It's built as performance eyewear first, and styled casually enough to wear off the bike as well.
Who It's For
- Cyclists and runners with small to medium face shapes who need a secure, no-slip fit
- Riders who sweat heavily and want nose pads that grip better when wet, not worse
- Anyone who wants a lightweight (25g), plant-based frame as an alternative to petroleum-based plastic
- Riders who want one pair that works for both training and everyday wear
- Consider a different model if you need a larger fit or prescription lenses — this frame and lens combination isn't available in Rx
What to Look For
- Fit range: the Swank runs small to medium; riders with a larger face should look at another Tifosi frame before buying
- Lens tint for your conditions: the Pink Mirror is a mirrored, shatterproof polycarbonate lens suited to bright light, not a low-light or overcast tint
- Rx needs: this variant isn't offered with prescription lenses, so riders who need Rx should confirm which Tifosi frame and lens options support it
Key Features
Frame: The Thrive frame is made from castor bean oil, a renewable, plant-based material that grows without competing with food farmland. It keeps the Swank light, at 25 grams, while staying durable enough for daily training use.
Lens: The Pink Mirror lens is shatterproof polycarbonate with full UVA/UVB protection, meeting the same UV standard as Tifosi's other tints, so the color choice here doesn't trade off protection.
Fit and retention: The integrated hinge glides on without pulling hair, and hydrophilic nose pads increase their grip as you sweat, which matters most in the final miles of a hot ride or run. Tifosi's Glide technology works alongside the nose pads to keep the frame from creeping down your nose during hard efforts.
Care: Each pair ships with a microfiber cleaning bag, and replacement nose pads are sold separately if the originals wear out.
Rider Intent Summary
- Biggest strengths: secure, no-slip retention from the hydrophilic nose pads and Glide technology, paired with a lightweight, plant-based frame
- Tradeoffs: fit is limited to small-to-medium faces, and this lens and frame combination isn't available in Rx
- What makes it different: the Thrive frame's castor-bean-oil construction is a sustainability detail most sport sunglasses in this category don't offer
Victory's Take
We like the Swank for riders who've had sunglasses slide down mid-ride — the nose pad grip and Glide fit are genuinely built to solve that problem, and the plant-based frame is a nice bonus for anyone who cares about materials as much as fit. Victory Bicycle Studio stocks the Swank for riders who fall in that small-to-medium fit range and want performance eyewear that doesn't need constant adjusting.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer free shipping?
We do offer free shipping on non-bike orders over $100. We do not offer free shipping for bicycles unless it is a one time promotion. Generally, bike shipping will cost $150 and that covers just the shipping of the bike with no assembly. If you were to bring that bike to your local mechanic or bike store, you would pay them their assembly fee. If you choose our Professional Assembly option for $200, our service technicians would assemble the bike before shipping and then re-pack the bike safely for transit. When you receive the bike you would attach the front wheel, attach the seatpost/saddle, and raise the handlebars and clamp them. Those three items do have to be detached to minimize or eliminate the chance of damage in transit.
How much does shipping cost?
For orders of parts, accessories, apparel, etc. on orders under $100, shipping is a flat rate of $9.99. Regular bike shipping without assembly is $150, bike shipping with Professional Assembly is an additional $200 (so $350 in total which includes the $150 of regular shipping). Our White Glove Delivery option is $699 and that will cover the assembly of the bike and our White Glove Delivery partner delivering your dream bike to your front door, ready to ride!
How can I track my order?
When you place your online order, you will receive an instantaneous email update with your order number and order details, and shortly after, you will receive a follow up order email with the tracking number for your order. If you still need assistance with your order, feel free to email us at online@victorybicyclestudio.com and we will respond asap.
